Let me introduce myself.
I’m Jean, and I love all things quilting!

I was nine years old when my mother taught me how to sew. From Barbie doll clothes to Halloween costumes and home decorating, I’ve always been sewing. When my three daughters were very young, I was inspired by a picture of a doll quilt with hearts on it. That got me started. A neighbor taught me to make blocks, sashing, and corner squares, and a twin size quilt was born. I was hooked, and quilting has been my passion ever since!

I quickly moved from hand to machine quilting on my Bernina 1031. The workhorse I still use for piecing. I’ve been blessed to receive ribbons for my work at local shows and the county fair. I even have a sampler quilt published in a book.

In 2010, I picked up a quilt magazine in an airport. I knew about longarm quilting machines, but I thought they were only in warehouse-type industrial quilting businesses. I saw ads for machines that “normal” people had in their homes. And I saw unbelievable quilting designs done with these machines. I had to have one.

Over the next year, I researched and tried machines until I purchased an Innova 26” with Lightning Stitch regulator. The longarm greatly expanded my skills and allowed me to work on customer quilts. I’ve now upgraded to the new Innova M24 with AutoPilot Mach 3. With this awesome machine, I can provide a wide variety of edge-to-edge designs for your quilt.

I live in an area known as South Central PA. My small town is surrounded by idyllic rolling hills and scenic farmland. Every season brings its own beauty and wonderful fresh produce in the summer. Embedded in the fabric of the landscape is the rich history of our country where many contributed to the freedom we enjoy today.

And, guess what - we’re famous for our peaches!
